Omega Phi Alpha will be hosting a Financial Literacy Seminar this Thursday, December 9 from 12:15-1:30 (Activity Period) in the Feeley International Center Multipurpose Room. 
Representatives from PNC Bank will be presenting on the topics of Building Credit and Saving for the Future. There will also be time reserved for Q & A. Please come to learn more about these important topics and to get all of your personal finance questions answered!
 
Leadership Opportunities

Captain James Landing


You haven't had quality food till you've been to Captain James Landing in Canton. With carry-out and dining abilities this place is great for any type of dinner. I've (Malikka) have been to the carry-out section of the restaurant and have loved not only the service but the quality of the food. My favorite thing to order would be the grilled chicken sandwich which is only $5.50 during the day untill 11pm.

Big Sean at Sonar this Saturday!


G.O.O.D. Music's own Big Sean will be coming to Baltimore this Saturday to grace the stage at Sonar. This is something you will not want to miss. The rapper is known for not holding his tongue like his mentor and label mate Kanye West. All must be in attendance. This will be a guaranteed sold out show! Get Your Tickets For The OMG Tour!


Usher along with Trey Songz & Miguel Jontel are making their way to Baltimore this week on the OMG Tour. Tickets have been on sale, but if you haven't gotten your ticket make sure to go over to ticketmaster to purchase the last few. Songs set to be performed are of course Usher's hit "OMG" along with songs from his multi-platinum album Confessions
The concert will take place at the 1st Mariner Area, December 8th at 8pm. Ladies you don't want to miss this!

Baltimore World AIDS Day is an event to remember the 47 million people worldwide, the over 1.7 million in the United Sates and the thousands in the greater Baltimore area who have AIDS or who have died from from AIDS. Join us for Remembrance, Speakers, Dancing, Singing & Poetry.
Following the program join us at The Walters Art Museum for a reception & exhibition of a mosaic mural created by members of the greater Baltimore community who are living with HIV or AIDS.

Falling Whistles

"Falling Whistles is a small window into our world's largest war."

CND will be showing the F.W. documentary and inviting speakers from the organization to speak. The event invitation extends to surrounding campus's and groups to join us in spreading awareness. There will also be desserts* and beverages provided for guests.


The Event will be held November 5th at 5:00pm
Documentary screening will be shown in Knott Auditorium
---- Address is 4701 North Charles Street, Baltimore Maryland.
Parking is available outside of Knott Auditorium.
There is no dress code, come as you are :-)


There will also be a night-life event held at Angels Rockbar in Powerplant Live. Those of you 21+ are welcome and encouraged to party for charity!

There is a upcoming beading class!!!Make a personalized picture or mirror frame, using several small trinkets out of any non food material precious to you- metal, wood,or plastic. Bring in coins or miniature cars or broken CDs or old shoes or buttons or necklaces or old credit cards or ID cards or anything similar that has meaning for you. Learn how to embed and immortalize your trinkets into a frame that you will pick up one week after the workshop. Decorate your frame with colored glass, broken tiles, and other colorful artifacts to make it come to life!
